commons housing master plan
- Anticipated Completion: 2017
The master plan for Liberty University's Residential precinct was designed by M/M to accommodate up to 6,000 students. Located in the heart of campus, the master plan calls for the replacement of approximately 1,100 existing beds in sixteen low-rise buildings. Organizing the plan by designing a new central green space provides convenience and accessibility, while creating a visual and physically unifying connection to the northern campus core. By also designing the first two residence halls of the initial phase, M/M helped establish a traditional architectural design response for Liberty's residential buildings, consistent with the evolving campus aesthetic.
