With over 280,000sf and 1,238 beds, Commons Housing I was the first, of up to six, new residence halls planned for the growing campus of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  As an initial phase to a much larger master plan, which will ultimately demolish seventeen existing dorms, Residence Halls I & II provide double-occupancy sleeping rooms with a shared bath and an abundance of support spaces within each of their nine floors.  This residential precinct attempts to bring order, connectivity and convenience to this area adjacent to the core of campus.
