Mitchell/Matthews is continually working to advance the planning and design of multi-family architecture. We strive to design buildings of a refined residential character with efficient and artful site design, clear, simple and interesting detailing, generous transparency, and carefully crafted common spaces both inside and out. Our multi-family designs have won local and national awards for the ways in which they address pedestrian circulation, for parking arrangements which are highly efficient and aesthetically sensitive, and for the manner in which local traditional forms are incorporated into their cost-effective, distinctly contemporary facades.
