A strong belief in traditinoal, walkable communities comprised of quality public spaces and thoughtfully designed private areas guides our multi-faceted planning approach as we lay out the buildings, street networks, parks, plazas, mixed-use retail cores, community amenities, and civic landmarks that make the difference between an automobile-centered "housing area" and a human-scaled neighborhood. We have found that the principles of defined space, architectural harmony and clarity, and the human scale bear fruit in both the design of neighborhoods and in the creation of specialized districts such as research parks and university campuses.
The examples shown here illustrate the scope of our urban planning projects.
