ANNADALE FARM

Annadale Estate occupies a prominent knoll in the lea of historic Gordonsville, Virginia, and is presently being restored to its former glory after years of inappropriate accessorizing and neglect. By re-fenestrating a series of modern wings which were added to the house after its initial construction in the late 1760s, and removing unsympathetic modifications, the balance an symmetry of the core home and its surround of ancient oaks and boxwoods has been restored. As far back as the late 19th century, the house and its environs were seen by local community planners as a logical place to extend the urban fabric of the nearby village of Gordonsville, and this gracious manor will remain the standard of quality for future development of the rolling hills of Annadale Farm.
