The Standard is a 6-story mixed-use residential complex concept design.  The site, located on an important and underutilized parcel of West Main Street, is essentially a vital link between Downtown Charlottesville and the University of Virginia.  This high-density residential development is currently in the design process, allowing for commercial and retail space at street level along the West Main Street corridor with residential units above.  The design utilizes an existing site, previously surface parking, and adds pervious green space while maximizing density.  The thoughtful placement of exterior glazing allows for bright multi-family residential interiors.  A rooftop deck and pool allow views of Charlottesville's skyline and Jefferson's Monticello.
