Seeking In-Person Architects/Designers

• 5 to 15+/- years of experience required.

• This is an in-person role in Charlottesville where you'll contribute to projects from initial design through construction, ensuring both creative excellence and technical precision. 

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery:

  • Follow architectural projects from concept design through construction completion.

  • Ensure well-documented and buildable solutions with high design and technical quality.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with consultants and our internal team to develop design solutions that meet client program & budget needs.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure project drawings and specifications adhere to building codes.

  • Maintain a high level of detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Approach:

  • Solid personal integrity & work ethic.

  • Self-motivated, flexible, resourceful and eager to collaborate. 

• Experience:

  • 5 to 15+/- years of professional experience in an architecture office.

  • Demonstrated ability to document and deliver complex projects.

• Technical Skills:     

  • Proficiency in Archicad (preferred) or Revit for project modeling and documentation. 

  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus. 

• Design & Detail:

  • Excellent design sensibility paired with strong technical knowledge of how buildings go together.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, buildable construction documents.

• Leadership:

  • Highly organized and collaborative team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Capable of effective coordination with consultants and contractors.

• Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with U.S. building codes and ADA/accessibility standards.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
